Growing up big and strong

This is a little outfit that Mommy dressed me up in while Daddy was at work. It won't be too long before I'll be outgrowing this too. I'll be moving on to 0-3 months soon.

My very first Christmas ornaments

Mommy's friend Ruthie took her to the mall and Mommy got these wonderful Christmas ornaments. I'm so happy to be a part of this family. Life can only get better from here!!!

On my way to see Santa

This is me on my way to go see Santa. Isn't the outfit just adorable? I still have a little growing to do. This is a 0-3 month and I'm not swimming in it!!!! I weigh 7lbs 12 oz today! Can you believe it, I've almost doubled in weight since I was born (thanks to my Mom and Dad).

This is one of my favorite things. I love to lay here and move my arms around. It's especially cool when I hit the toy and it jingles!!!

Mom thinks this picture is just adorable! I was out like a light, once again. I guess that was because the sun was up at that time.

This is me in my carseat on my very first road trip to Gram's house. Thankfully Nana made this really nice blanket to keep me warm.

I sure do fit snuggly in Gramp's arm. Too bad every time I cry he thinks I'm "broken." Lucky for him, I don't do much crying unless I'm not being held.

Peanut Shell Trial

Mommy's friend, Kristy, told her about this cool carrying sling called the "Peanut Shell." There I am inside. It was very comfortable. I can't wait to spend more time inside. It actually put me to sleep. Hopefully Mommy doesn't decide to put me in this during my WIDE awake time (8pm - 11pm).

Daddy + Boppy + me

Daddy + the Boppy + me = pure heaven..... Whoever thought of this wonderful pillow deserves an award. I can sleep for days right here.

Nana's favorite outfit

Nana told Mommy she liked this outfit so Mommy just had to have a picture of me in it to send her. Go figure the only one she could get during the daytime was of me sleeping.....

I was still a little small in this picture but it was one of Nana's favorites. That's her holding me. I've since graduated from having to wear the hat every day. Now my head can breathe and my hair can grow.

The swing from Aunty Trish

I think I'm still a little small to use the swing Aunty Trish got me. I can't wait until I'm bigger. This thing's awesome. It swings side to side or front to back (depending on my mood). It also has music and a mobile. I'm so spoiled....

This is my family. It's the first picture of us together. We can't wait until I get a little bigger so we can have our picture taken again. We will be sure to send copies to our loved ones.

First bath at home (November 14th)

Alright, so maybe I lied about liking this bath thing. Maybe it just takes some getting used to. There's Daddy's hand. He's making sure that I'm safe and secure. I guess at least I smelled good afterward.....

Asleep in Nana's crib

Here I am fast asleep in Nana's crib. Would you believe she slept in this very same crib when she was a baby? Nana even made the sheets for the crib. Isn't she just wonderful?

Daddy and me

This is one of my favorite places to sleep in the afternoon. Pretty soon I'll be watching the Super Bowl in this very same place. Go PATS!!!

Tummy Time

As you can see, tummy time was a success! I am a week old in this picture and perfectly content with laying on my tummy.

Hello Aunty Trish

Aunty Trish just can't get enough of me. I like to fall asleep in her arms. She's such a great Aunt. Can't you see the joy in her face?

I love my Nana

Thankfully Nana was here for my birthday. She took her first flight to be here with me. I think she was a big help during labor and delivery.

Ahhh.... I'm all clean and next to the best Mommy in the whole world. She is so happy to see me. I've been waiting 8 months to see what she looks like. I wonder if I'll look more like her or Daddy.

Wow, this shampoo stuff really smells nice. I think I could get the hang of this bath stuff!

One little happy family! Gheez, from the looks of Daddy, you'd think he was the one doing the pushing! Daddy was definitely nervous on my birthday. Mom kept calm and collected (with the help of Nana).

Here I am before the gracious nurses took me for my first bath. As you can see, I already like to sleep all the time.

Mommy and Daddy expected my arrival on December 1st. Little did they know I was so anxious to see them! I arrived on November 7th. Good things really do come in small packages. I weighed a whopping 4 lbs, 6 oz and was 16 inches long.
