Bumbo seat

Mommy's co-worker had this awesome Bumbo seat that his son can't use anymore so he gave it to me. Here I am trying to figure out how to keep my head up straight. I'm pretty good when Mom or Dad are holding me, but it's a little more difficult on my own. I'm sure I'll get it soon, and when I do I'll let you know!!!

Tummy Time

Alright, so maybe tummy time isn't overrated after all. It just takes a little getting used to. I'm anxious to get my arms and legs moving, but I guess I've got a little ways to go for that.

I hit the 12 mark!!!

Today mommy weighed me and wasn't too surprised to see that I'm now 12 lbs, 1 oz. Everyone's so proud of me when they hear how fast I'm growing!!!! My coordination and strength is getting better every day.... Here's a picture of me holding the keys to my first car. I just don't know where it's parked yet....

Meeting Grandpa Norris

Here I am meeting my Grandpa Norris. I went to go wish him a happy 61st! I'm quite sure Grandpa and Daddy are happy to have a boy to carry on the Norris name.

Great Aunt Margaret Ann

Dad took me out to meet my Grandpa Norris and look who I saw there, it's Margaret Ann and Brynn! I'm so happy I got to see them again. I hadn't seen Great Aunt Margaret Ann since Christmas and Thanksgiving was the last time I saw Brynn.

My first snow!!!!!

So today, January 17th, was the first time I got to see (and taste) the snow. I begged mom to take me outside and finally she gave in. She told me that I had to get in this cute little snowsuit and I had no rejections, I just wanted to see the snow. As you can see, I liked the way the snow felt on my face and I definitely liked the way it tasted too!!!! Mommy told me it doesn't taste as good as Maine snow but I'll have to wait until next year to taste the difference myself.

So much fun in the morning

Mom caught these great shots of me in my favorite time of the day..... MORNING! Hard to believe, right? I guess I just feel recharged after sleeping during the night and I'm ready to play and have fun in the morning. Hey guys, don't show these pictures to your girlfriends if you want to keep them......

Gabriel came to visit!

I had another visitor today. His name is Gabriel. He and I have a special bond because we were both born on the same day!!!! This was our first post-hospital visit and I think both moms agree that it was a hit. You can see that we have different personalities....... Gabriel can't stop moving and I like to take time to relax.

Bath time is so much fun!!!

Mom and I have so much fun in the bath together! Dad was able to catch this snapshot of me with almost a full smile... There's nothing like being clean, ahhhhh.

Kady Mae came to see me!

Look who came to see me today. It's Kady Mae! She is almost walking so I can't keep up with her. She is a fast paced girl. She is breaking in my walker here and doing an awesome job. I can't wait until I can give that thing a shot.

Such a happy baby!!!!

Today Mommy went to the base to check out of the Navy and Daddy was at home taking care of me. He was eager to get a picture of me smiling and I decided to cooperate. I hope you all think I'm as adorable as I think I am!!!! There will be lots more smiles to come.

Home from the hospital outfit

This was supposed to be the outfit that I wore home from the hospital after I was born. I guess there's no way I would've fit into it then (at 4 lbs, 6 oz) but now that I'm an astounding 9 lbs, 10 oz I am flying right by it. Thankfully Mommy had a chance to put me in it and show it off a little bit before it's too small for me.

Mean Mommy and Daddy

Mommy took me to the hospital on January 4th and had me circumcised. I'm not feeling quite up to par in this picture. I cried so hard that I popped blood vessels on my face. Mommy was quite upset at the hospital. I think she's doing better now that it's been a few days and I'm back to myself.

Whoever tried to trick me into thinking my crib was more comfortable than Mommy & Daddy's bed must have been crazy! It doesn't get any better than this. I've got Mommy & Daddy wrapped around my little fingers!

I've been flashing my smiles almost every chance I get now. Unfortunately, Mommy hasn't been able to capture one with the camera. As soon as she gets one I'm sure she'll post it.
